Our weekends have been crazy with Saturday school for the past few months. So when I was invited to attend the UniverSoul Circus I jumped at the opportunity. It was one show that Andre & I have never been to. So we headed uptown to the Bronx to check out all the circus fun and we brought along one of Andre’s BFF’s since kindergarten, Mia.
The show started and the crowd cheered. We were wowed by the performances. We were literally on the edge of our seats. It was a multicultural experience which we loved. There were an Aerial Duet from Columbia, Bicycle tricks from China, Russian bar from Cuba and so much more!
During the intermission kids were given the opportunity to ride the ponies in the center of the ring. Then it was time for the show to start again. It was more thrills than before! We heard the sounds of motorbikes but had no idea where they were coming from. Then the lights dimmed and out came the bikes! Watch as they leap through the sky!
There were several laughs throughout the show too. I have to say it was quite entertaining. There were several times when the crowd especially the kids were in the aisles dancing doing the latest dance moves. I loved watching the Fresh clowns get down!
We had such a fun experience! I am so glad that we went and it won’t be our last time. It definitely is a must see with the family. It is a huge dance party that the kids will love enjoy. The adults will love it too especially the “old skool new skool” game! LOL
