Toyota & She Buys Cars Host A Girls Night Out #NYIASGIRLS

When I was a teen, I would always go to the NY International Auto Show during Easter break. It was a tradition with my friends or I should say with my boyfriend at the time. Checking out the hottest new cars imagining what we would own when we were older. I remember there were always a ton of females with their boyfriends/husbands too.

I was delighted to be invited to a Toyota & She Buys Cars Girls Night Out event. Cars aren’t just for boys anymore. Women want to be in control of what they are driving too. At the auto show it was evident that many cars appeals to the female drivers with their smooth curves & bright colors.

20140417_175711It was a fun night mingling, drinking & eating. We were all thrilled to check out what was new for the road. We were treated to some beauty & fashion trends for spring by the Getting Gorgeous Gals Vera Sweeney & Audrey McClelland.  They highlighted what’s new like bold jewelry, pink/orange lipsticks, and bright prints. You can check out their fashion tips here.

Or this one

20140417_184155There really are so many beautiful cars. I loved the newest Toyota Highlander. Still as spacious and affordable.

20140417_183627I was excited that NBC’s The Voice car was there too. They even had the chair that the judges sit in. Very cool! I channeled my inner Shakira.

20140417_18533020140417_185544I’m hoping to head back this weekend with my boyz. There’s still so much to see. It’s a great time for families to share their love of cars!

Will you be heading out to the auto show this weekend? If so come back & share a pic of your family at the show!

The NY International Auto Show will be at the Jacob Javits Center until 4/27/14. Tickets can be purchased online.

Disclosure: I attended as media to the event. All opinions expressed are 100% my own. No compensation was received.
