Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus Xtreme #review #RinglingNYNJ

I remember growing up that I would always head down to Madison Square Garden for the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus Circus Xtreme. It was always pure excitement watching the 3 ring circus. I remember having to keep moving my head back & forth to keep up. I have taken Andre a few years ago but we haven’t been able to go back. During the winter break, we invited his classmate Mia & her Mom to join us at Brooklyn’s Barclay Center for Circus Xtreme!

20150219_175702We arrived an hour early before the show for the early pre-show access which is available to all ticketholders. The kids get to jump around in a bounce house, get up close & personal with the clowns and just have some fun!

The show began at 7pm. The excitement was in the air! The ringmaster, with his top hat, led the crowd in. The acrobats, daredevils, elephants and clowns all danced their way in.

The kids were most amazed by the aerial performances. With it’s bright colors & scary high flying moves, they had everyone oohing & aahhing.

Since this is Circus Xtreme, there had to be some pretty impressive stunts in the show! I couldn’t believe some of the skills that these men & women have. From the Mongolian strong men, to the BMX freestylers, female human cannonball, and the trampoline troupe you are literally left with your mouth wide open.

Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus Xtreme is at the Barclays Center till this Sunday March 1st. Then it heads out to our local folks in Long Island and then to New Jersey. So you still have a few weeks before it heads outside of the tri-state area.
