On Sunday we were invited to stop by A&E TV’s tricked out RV promoting their new series Modern Dads. They were outside Coney Island’s MCU Park. The weather was a bit overcast but it didn’t stop people from stopping by and snapping some pics.
MODERN DADS features four stay-at-home dads who may be a little unconventional, but they get the job done. Banding together, their “guys club” is a tribe of suburban, child-rearing dudes who are just trying to do their thing… with a kid (or four) on their hip. This new series will follow their exploits as they navigate their lives; juggling the requirements and social expectations of being both a `modern man’ and ‘modern dad’ while their significant others are off at work.
I love the idea of this show. We always here about SAHM’s but today there is a high number of SAHD’s as well. Actually the number has been on the rise. Women are progressing in higher paying jobs and economically it makes more sense for the highest paid worker to stay at home. The promo for this show reminds me of the movie The Back Up Plan where the men commence at the playground. It’s great to hear what men talk about with other dads.

These guys look hilarious! I can’t wait to tune in tomorrow night! Don’t you forget to as well.
The show airs on A&E TV tomorrow Wednesday 8/21 at 10:30pm Est.
