Middle School The Worst Year Of My Life #middleschoolmovie #giveaway

Andre has started middle school this year & I can’t believe it.  His work load has increased from the past few years. I’m excited for him & the transition into a new building and teachers. We recently made a trip to Barnes & Noble to get some new books and we came upon James Patterson’s Middle School The Worst Year of My Life novel which I felt that it was appropriate & seemed quite funny. It serves as the beginning to James Patterson’s Middle School series. We then found out that there’s a movie being released based on the book and we are doubly excited for it! It’s definitely going to be a film to see with your kids as Andre enjoyed the book.

Synopsis

Rafe has an epic imagination…and a slight problem with authority. Both collide when he transfers to an oppressive, rule-crazy middle school. Drowning in do’s and don’ts, Rafe and his scheming best friend Leo hatch a plan to break every rule in the school’s Code of Conduct. It’s Ferris Bueller meets Home Alone as their battle with Principal Dwight explodes into chaos both real and imagined. But Dwight displays his own fiendish creativity, striking back at the rule breakers. Meanwhile, Rafe struggles to hide his misbehavior from Jeanne, the straight-A, overachieving girl of his dreams, and at home, his mother’s boyfriend — a moochy, jack-of-no-trades named Bear — threatens to become his stepfather.
