LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester Says “ALOHA” and Invites Adult Fans of LEGO® to Dust-Off Their Grass Skirts and Hawaiian Shirts for the Ultimate LEGO Luau Party on August 1
Exclusive Evenings for Adult LEGO Fans Take Place First Thursday of Every Month
Continuing its monthly Adult Fans of LEGO® (AFoL) Night, LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Westchester is going tropical for its next adults fan night with a “LEGO Luau” theme for the event on Thursday, August 1 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. (admission is from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) at Ridge Hill (One Ridge Hill Boulevard) in Yonkers. The monthly event is only open to adults (18 years and older) and allows guests to experience the attraction while enjoying special events and activities tailored to adults.
The adults only evenings take place the first Thursday of each month and feature tailored activities and events that Adult Fans of LEGO will enjoy. During the August 1 event guests will get to meet and share ideas with the attraction’s Master Model Builder and other fans; test their creativity and LEGO construction skills in a Luau-themed LEGO building competition; and show off their favorite tropical-inspired grass skirt and Hawaiian shirt fashions for a “Best Dressed at the Luau” contest, each offering special prizes. There will also be exciting beach-themed games in which to participate, including: Limbo, a Hula Hoop competition, Beach Bucket Toss and more. The fun-filled evenings also include a cash bar with beer and select mixed drinks. Future events will be developed around specific themes and feature special guests and exhibits.
Of course, guests will also get to enjoy the attraction’s range of educational and interactive experiences, including its 4D cinema, two LEGO amusement rides and MINILAND – the venue’s signature re-creation of landmark locations and buildings throughout Westchester County and New York City, made entirely out of LEGO bricks.
Tickets to the adult evenings are available online at www.LEGOLANDDiscoveryCenter.
