Getting Fit At Tapout Fitness With WWE Superstars #womensrevolution #tapoutfitness

I have been slacking on my workout routine since July. With all the travel we have been doing I really fell off and I am so disappointed in myself about it. I need a kick in the arse to get moving again. What better way than to work out with the Superstars of the WWE and Maria Menounos at the new Tapout Fitness in East Harlem.


I was gearing for a 60 minute workout with my fellow blogging buddies Nichol and Danielle. Looking at the equipment that was set out for us I was a little worried that I may pass out.


Once the ladies of the WWE were introduced the attendees were pumped & ready to move!


Our instructors of the day were WWE Superstars Natalya, Summer Rae, Naomi, Alexis, Lana, and Alicia Fox.  Each Superstar worked us for 10 minute intervals concentrating on different parts of the body. The work outs were simple routines that you can use on your own. The ladies were hilarious & were so down to earth during the work outs.


Once I squatted and lifted for the hour, we were treated to a fresh fruit smoothie & KIND bar. We sat for a Q & A with the ladies as well as Maria Menounos, NY Times Best Selling Author of The EveryGirl’s Guide to Diet & Fitness and The EveryGirl’s Guide to Cooking.

Maria talked about how she transformed her lifestyle to lose 40lbs within the year by changing her eating habits slowly rather than binging on a crash diet. She has maintained her weight loss by fitting in work outs during her day, not at a gym but by implementing them at her desk or even in her bed. Her two bestselling books provides tips on how she did it. I can’t wait to start reading! It definitely was the encouragement I as well as the audience needed to hear. Of course the WWE women bust their booties everyday at the gym to maintain those physiques that are needed in the ring. With Summerslam on Sunday, they needed to get those bodies pumped up. Our workout took place at the new Tapout Fitness  located on East 106th Street & 3rd Avenue in East Harlem. They are the official fitness & training partner of the WWE. The facility opened on August 1st and replaced the Ballys that was in the neighborhood. I look forward to checking out their facility further.

The best way to get your work out on are with your best girlfriends who are just as physically challenged as you! LOL
