The holidays are fast approaching and I got the chance to get a sneak peak at TTPM’s top Toys event.

Of course Frozen and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are going to be in demand this season, but I saw a lot of throwbacks to the 80’s and some pretty cool toys that should be on every boys wishlist.

Here are my Top 10 toys for Boys!

Zoomer the Dino– This guy is awesome.  He’s a must for kids age 5 and up, and will be the hot toy of the year.  He’s the pet every parent wants. He can interact with you based on hand motions or a remote, but will also show you his emotions through his eyes and movements.

Zing Airstorm Firetek Bow– This bow is super simple to you and lights up! It’s got soft and easy arrows that fly through the air at great distances.  It’s pretty simple to aim, which I find important, and will be also be on my “Cool Mom” wish list!

Crayola Paint Maker – I love the creativity Crayola gives to kids and this paint maker allows you to get creative and think outside the box. This set uses a little science and lots of fun to make one of a kind colors.

PrankStar Fart Piano– It doesn’t matter if you’re young or old, farts are funny. The piano will help make musical toots for everyone to enjoy!

Lite-Brite– Talk about a blast from the past.  The new Lite-Brites are so much better, and smaller than the ones we had growing up.  There’s no hot light-bulb or paper for your design, and what’s even better is it’s got a case that attaches for all the fun pegs.

Battroborg– With different match offs this will keep your little ones busy playing, It’s battling Robots or TMNTs fueled through your fists. It’s awesome to watch and play.

Wack-tivities Kinetic Sand– This stuff is the best.  I was very skeptical, but once you touch it you won’t stop.  It’s soft, doesn’t stick or dry out and it’s easy to clean up.  Great for sensory skills and rainy days.

Sprukits– This is a toy that really makes you work, but in a fun way.  You’ve got to assemble the pieces to make the character.  I love how they have different levels and it really gives your child something to work toward.

Air Hogs Zero Gravity Laser Racer– This car can drive on the wall, or floor and what’s better is you control it with a laser.  Easy to use and defying gravity; the kids are going to have a field day playing with this toy.

Simon Swipe– It’s a classic, and something everyone loves, plus you know it’s teaching them memory and patterns!

There are so many great toys out these the list could go on, but I think these would be my top 10 of what I got to see and play with at the TTPM Holiday Toy Event.
